Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 21, 2026
SongbookFlow ("we," "us," "our") makes a mobile app that converts your streaming playlists into songbooks on chord and tab sites. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account info — name, email, and profile details you provide when you sign up, or that a connected platform (Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Apple Music) shares with us under your authorization.
- Playlist & track data — the playlists and track metadata (title, artist, album) you choose to import, used to find matching tabs and chords.
- Usage data — app interactions, conversion history, and device/diagnostic data, used to improve matching quality and fix bugs.
- Purchase data — subscription status and transaction history for the Pro plan, handled by Apple's or Google's payment systems; we never see your card number.
2. How we use it
We use your data to run the core service — importing playlists, matching tracks to tabs, building songbooks — and to maintain your account, provide support, and improve match accuracy over time. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Third-party services
SongbookFlow connects to services you choose to authorize, including streaming platforms (Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Apple Music) and tab/chord sites (CifraClub, Cifras.com, Ultimate Guitar, Songsterr). Each is governed by its own privacy policy; we only request the minimum access needed (e.g., read-only playlist access) and store authorization tokens securely, never your platform password.
4. Data retention & sharing
We retain your account and songbook data for as long as your account is active, and delete it within 30 days of account deletion. We share data with service providers who help us operate the app (hosting, analytics, payment processing) under confidentiality obligations, and never share it for their independent marketing purposes.
5. Your rights & choices
You can access, export, or delete your songbooks and account at any time from Settings. You can revoke SongbookFlow's access to a connected platform from that platform's own account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data — contact us to exercise them.
6. Children's privacy
SongbookFlow is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes here and, for material updates, notify you in the app.
